Who We Are

Care Lending Group ("CLG", "we", "our") is a specialized lending firm focused on financing for financial advisors and wealth management professionals across Canada. Our website is located at www.carelendinggroup.com.

What Data We Collect

Through this portal, we collect the following types of personal information:

• Personal information (name, address, date of birth, Social Insurance Number)
• Business information (business name, address, profession details)
• Financial data (income, expenses, assets, liabilities, net worth)
• Supporting documents (commission statements, tax filings, identification)

Why We Collect It

Your personal information is collected for the sole purpose of evaluating your creditworthiness and processing your financing request with Care Lending Group.

Who Has Access

Your data is accessible only to your assigned CLG account manager and the CLG credit team involved in evaluating your application. We do not sell, share, or provide your personal information to any unrelated third parties.

How It's Protected

• All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3
• All data is encrypted at rest using AES-256
• Social Insurance Numbers are additionally encrypted at the application level using AES-256-GCM
• Access to your data is controlled through authentication and role-based access controls
• Uploaded files are stored in a private, encrypted vault

Data Retention

Your data is retained in our cloud portal for a limited time. Once your account manager downloads your complete application package, your data is automatically deleted from our servers within 48 hours. Unsubmitted drafts are deleted after 30 days. After deletion, only a minimal record (submission ID, your name, deal type, and dates) is retained for audit purposes.

Your Rights

Under PIPEDA, you have the right to:

• Access your data: Download a complete summary of all information you've provided
• Request correction: Contact us to correct any inaccurate information
• Request deletion: Delete your submission and all associated data at any time

These options are available through your submission status page while your data remains in the system.
